A mediaeval German castle towers above the surrounding forest. Despite the air of fantasy I was trying to bring out in this shot, the actual structure is historically accurate. It was commissioned by Scottish wargamer and figure painter David Imrie of the League of Augsburg club. Hopefully the model reflects the well-known dramatic style of that club’s figure painting.
